Request to your bank to correct or update what it reports to the credit bureaus
We draft your request to the bank, caja or lender that reports your debt to the credit bureaus: if you already paid and still show as a debtor, or if the data is wrong. It asks for the certificate of regularisation and for your data to be updated or corrected, quoting Ley 32327 and Ley 29733 word for word. It is not legal advice or representation.
This is not legal advice or representation. The request goes to the institution that reports your debt, not to Infocorp or another bureau. If you paid, it asks for the certificate of regularisation, which the institution must give you within seven business days of your request (Ley 32327, art. 13.1), and for your data to be updated (Ley 29733, art. 20). If the data is wrong, it asks for it to be corrected. Separately, you can ask the SBS to tell the bureaus about your payment (art. 13.2): that request goes through the SBS's own channel, not this letter. We explain it in negative credit reports and ARCO rights. If the institution does not answer in time or refuses, you can complain to the National Authority for Personal Data Protection with our complaint assistant. We have not confirmed how long a debt can stay on a credit report.
It is a draft that you review and file yourself. It is not legal advice or representation. Delivering it is free and you do not need a lawyer; what you pay for is the drafting.
